David Benoit
is the group leader and has developed a number of vibrational techniques to deal with large molecular systems and surfaces. He currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in physical chemistry at the University of Hull.

Christopher Jay
is a 3rd year Ph.D. student studying methane adsorption on Ni(111) and Pt(111).

Christina C. Roggatz
is a 3rd year Ph.D. student studying the interactions of marine organisms, in particular how these interactions are mediated and their role in the ecosystem. Her research to date focuses on chemically mediated interactions of marine organisms and how they are affected by ocean acidification (OA).
Matthew Bennett
is a 2nd year Ph.D. student studying CO2 adsorption in new materials.
